Stockpots are too big, rondeaus are too wide, and Dutch Ovens? Well, sometimes they can feel a little too heavy to break out on any given Tuesday. Meet our newest hybrid: The Stainless Steel Dutch Oven. This isn’t just any pot – it’s a total game changer, with all the perks of our Stainless Steel Cookware line. We designed it for everyday cooking, whether you’re simmering a small batch of lentil soup, slow-braising short ribs, searing meatballs, or tackling that one-pot recipe you saw on Instagram. It’s our favorite piece for boiling pasta, too. And the best part? Unlike traditional enameled cast iron, this beaut is a lot more lightweight; plus you can toss it right in the dishwasher – it won’t chip or warp. Bring on the heat!
Why The Stainless Steel Dutch Oven - 6.75 QT is Great
Heat Retention: Our stainless is 5-ply, which means it has 3 layers of steel and 2 layers of aluminum. Together, they excel at getting hot and staying hot no matter what’s in your pan. (3-ply pans could never!) Prepare for better searing, stir-frying, and browning—aka more delicious food.
Even Heating: Our pans are a full 3.0mm thick—that’s thicker than most pans, even the expensive ones. This thickness prevents hot and cool spots, so you don’t have to keep moving those chicken thighs around to get an even sear without sticking.
Oven Safe: You can also use this bad boy in the oven – it's safe to 800 degrees.
Dishwasher Safe: It won’t warp and it’s indestructible. So throw it right in and go watch a movie.

Dutch Oven Goals Achieved!
I absolutely love the height of this 6.75 qt. stainless steel Dutch oven! It’s perfect for boiling pasta, potatoes, and even ears of corn — the deeper design makes cooking so much easier than with a wider, shorter pot that is still a 6.75 qt. The handles are sturdy and comfortable, the lid fits beautifully, and the smooth edges give it such a high-quality feel. This Dutch oven has quickly become one of my favorite pieces in the kitchen that is a nice weight — definitely a 5-star purchase!
I bought the stainless Dutch oven as a lighter alternative to cast iron, that I could also use over an open fire if wanted. I have not live fire cooked with it , but everything else has been perfect. Boil, roast , stew, steam .... All the Dutch oven things in a lighter, quicker heating pan. Heat retention is fantastic for those long slow cooks especially. I did a pot roast from start to finish , and dare I say , it was perfect. Every bit as good as a Dutch oven pot roast. Glad I have added to my kitchen arsenal . And for the folks that have induction, it's a champ on induction. Easily one of the better induction compatible pans I have used.

Fabulous pot.
I have an 8 Qt All-Clad that was just too big once my nest emptied. I still love to make soups, and this 6.75 qt pot is perfect. Wide, sturdy, and performs every bit as well as the All-Clad.

Perfect pasta pan
I have used a variety of pots for cooking pasta (I do that 3-4 times a week). I bought this as a replacement for a much larger pot (the same diameter). The diameter was the key. Spaghetti, linguine, etc. fit lying flat in the pan, no need to wait for the pasta to soften so you can stir it into the water. It is my ideal pan for this purpose and it only took me 35 years to find it.
I should say the quality of the pan is exceptional, smooth rivets, curved edge, generous handles. Its as good as my French copper pots which constitute most of my cookware.
